Cancellation policy

Some items in our store may be offered to you as a subscription or as a one-time purchase. This cancellation policy lays out how you can change or cancel these kinds of purchases. 

Subscriptions

When you take out a subscription, you receive access to the Society's member benefits for as long as your subscription is active. Unless you cancel, it renews automatically at the end of each period, and your saved payment details are charged for the period ahead.

You can change or cancel at any time. Every order confirmation email contains a link to your order, from which you can manage your subscription. If you cancel, you keep your benefits until the end of the period you've already paid for — you simply won't be charged again.

Yearly Membership

A yearly membership is billed once, in full, at the start of each year, and your payment details are stored securely. It renews automatically each year unless you cancel before the renewal date. Cancelling stops the next payment; your benefits continue until the end of the year you've paid for.

Lifetime Membership

A lifetime membership is a single, one-time payment, taken in full at the time of purchase. In return, you receive all member benefits immediately and permanently — there is nothing to renew, and nothing to cancel.

Because your access begins the moment you buy, a lifetime membership isn't subject to cancellation in the way a subscription is. You may, however, request a full or partial refund — see our Returns & Refunds policy for how that works.
